Hemichromis lifalili "Blood Red Jewel"
This Jewel is not the common Jewel seen in the pet stores, it's a different species. The common jewel is H. bimaculatus. The main differences are the Blood Red Jewel shows a much more consistent and brighter red coloration. The common Jewel only shows color when breeding. Another big difference is the common Jewel is infamous for it's aggressive personality, whereas the Blood Red Jewel is very mild mannered in comparison.
